Having visited Key West in 1973 as a diver I knew it would be my home upon retirement from the military. Fortunately my wife and I invested in property here in Key West prior to my retirement. Knowing the terrific real estate market in Key West I obtained my real estate license in 1997 and joined the Key West Association of Realtors. Upon our arrival in Key West I managed a few real estate offices and then opened my own brokerage. Feeling the need to give back to the community I was a charter member of the City of Key West Citizen's Review Board, providing civilian oversight of the Key West Police Department. In addition I was the Vice-Chairman of the South Florida Workforce Board which provides high quality employment and training solutions to job seekers, workers, and employers to foster regional economic growth for Miami Dade and Monroe counties. In 2005 I became a Director of the Florida Association of Realtors and continued that position through 2006. In addition I was the President of the Key West Association of Realtors for 2006. Today I have narrowed my focus strictly on the real estate transaction. There are aspects of real estate sales that seem pretty simple. There are many complicated elements of a smooth transaction, however, I feel it is my job to make your transaction effortless and problem free.
