Well years later I'm still here & loving it! I was born in Durham & grew up here as a child. I lived in Carmel, NY for a few years while in school but came back down once I graduated. It has been a treat to watch the Triangle area grow up. I remember driving through downtown Durham & smelling the sweet aroma of fresh tobacco hanging to dry in the large brick warehouses. Now those same warehouses have been remodeled & turned into condos, retail stores, restaurants & businesses. Enjoying a cool evening at the Durham Bulls Baseball game is one of the best family outings around. There's also plenty of college sports if you are interested. With DUKE, UNC & NC State all within 30 minutes of each other there's always a good game to watch. We can't forget one our newest additions to the area, The Durham Performing Arts Center, DPAC. This award winning theater has been a huge success throughout the Triangle area. As a season ticket holder I can tell you it's absolutely a treat viewing shows that have just left Broadway. Living here is truly something special, the character, charisma & charm of the Triangle is quite unique. I've been a Realtor® for 16 years, I started in 1995.
