According to me The agents can be contacted before making on any purchase, many agents have maintained their personal sites to communicate with the clients, understand their requirements, understand their demand and deal accordingly.

Home Inspection can be done not only to because you want to sell your house but because people should be able to know if their property or house is still safe to live in or not. This helps a lot on knowing what to fix or renovate on your home when home inspection is done.

I agree to that... we all need home inspection, quarterly. In order to know what part of the house need to be fixed. And to avoid serious damages on the the house that will make a big flaws in time when you want to sell it..

Home inspections are a critical part of purchasing a home. Unless you are purchasing the home just for the land it is situated on and plan on tearing it down and building a custom home from scratch. Even then, an inspection could be potentially useful to negotiate price.
