We had a home inspection and it indicated the house was on sewer.  After the purchase we found out from a neighbor we were on septic. We would have had an inspection had we known.  We purchased the home based on his report. Can we sue?

I think before taking any further decision you should ask other home inspection professionals and then take your decision accordingly.
