The RE/MAX of Grand Rapids building will be located in Wyoming, at 5651 Byron Center AveSW, and be the base for more than 60 real estate agents.  The firm will occupy 11,000 square feet of the 23,000-square-foot development. The project should be completed by next summer. RE/MAX of Grand Rapids owners, the husband-and-wife team Rachael Veldkamp and David Veldkamp, said, they're "thrilled to be able to create such an amazing, new home base for our incredibly hard-working and talented agents.” The building will also have seven retail suites on the first floor, which can accommodate service partners, such as title, mortgage, insurance or home design firms, as well as shopping and food options. The new Wyoming facility will also feature collaborative spaces, a large event and education facility, drop stations and private phone booths for mobile agents, as well as a full kitchen and café. Firms on the project Wyoming-based Richard Postema Associates is the architect on the project. Caledonia-based FCC Construction is the project's contractor. The firm RE/MAX of Grand Rapids has offices in northwest Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids Township and Wyoming, at 5751 Byron Center AveSWThe new location will replace the Byron Center Avenue office.
