Triple block in Vermont attracts developers and builders Manningham Whitehorse Real Estate Charlotte Durut24 Nov 2017 East Melbourne News Victoria No27A Boronia Rd, Vermont, along with nos31-33 Boronia Rd, are available separately or together. The battle-axe sites at 27A and 31-33 Boronia Rd have a combined total size of 3057sq m and are available separately or together. Two of the blocks also include houses, with No27A featuring a small fibro cottage — once a packing shed for nearby lemon orchards — while no31 has a four-bedroom weatherboard house with a double carport and separate shedNo33 is a vacant block. RELATED: Surprising result for Vermont South triple block sale The triple opportunity follows the sale of three adjacent blocks in Vermonth South, two of which were snapped up 24 hours before auction with the third sold several days later. But MJ Docking & Associates Vermont director Adam Docking denied the possibility of such sales becoming a trend in the area. One family has owned nos27A and 31-33 Boronia Rd, Vermont, for decades. He said multiple blocks were a rarity in Vermont. “This area was originally settled by Italians and Greeks who would buy up big blocks, hoping to create a family enclave,” he said. “The age group of these vendors is now at the point where they can’t manage these big blocks any longer, and they’re selling them. “But there’s not many of these multiple blocks left.” Mr Docking said the triple blocks at Boronia Rd were a deceased estate, and could suit a developer for unit or townhouse construction. “The vacant block also has some nice trees on it and someone might like to build their dream home there,” he said. The blocks are zoned for Vermont Primary School and Vermont Secondary College and are close to EastLink and shops Expressions of interest on the sites close at 5pm on Tuesday, December 12.
