I am a native of Virden, Illinois then moved to Springfield about 20 years ago. I attended Lincoln Land Community College and majored in Liberal Arts. I also attended Browns Business College and the University of Phoenix taking courses in Business Administration. I have been employed with the State of Illinois for 17 years holding administrative assistant positions throughout my career. I am married and have four great step-children and a husband that has spent his career as a general contractor focusing on new construction and remodeling. It is through him, that I became fascinated with the field of Real Estate. I have helped manage his business, Phil Ramirez Builders for the past 14 years and through this experience, I have learned about the many aspects of new and existing residential construction. I obtained my real estate license in February, 2010 and became affiliated with the Real Estate Group in March, 2010. I have also completed all classroom hours towards becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker and am on my way to taking my brokers exam.
