Australia May Double Mortgage-Backed Bond Investments (Update1) (Bloomberg)

Oct. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Australia may double its investment in residential mortgage-backed securities to promote competition in the nation’s lending market and put “downward pressure” on borrowing costs.
