Real Estate Inspectors have an obligation to their clients to find defects in a home based on the scope of inspection standards provided by the state in which they are licensed. If something is missed in an inspection the inspector should be notified and given the oppurtunity to respond to the problem to the satisfaction of the client. If this fails the inspector should be reported to the licensing agency and a complaint filed. If that fails to resolve the problem many inspectors carry E & O insurance to protect them from being sued. If all eles fails there are plenty of Lawyers.
