This date is also the opening of the deer hunting season, a traditional leisure date for non-hunters. Why is there a Christmas Stroll?Maintaining the level of quality achieved by the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra (CVSO) requires a reliable revenue streamThere are of course ticket sales and private philanthropy, but the CVSO also depends heavily on fundraising events which are hosted by the "Friends of the Symphony" The annual Christmas Stroll is our most successful event, and therefore a critical component of the Symphony's annual budget.
