Maine August Home Sales Climb While Prices Drop


Home sales in August rose nearly 15% compared to the same month last year, though home prices fell. A total of 1,090 existing single-family homes were sold last month, a 14.74% increase over August 2010, according to a press release from the Maine Real Estate Information Service Inc.
